It is amazing what one notices in scripture when listening as it is read. Truths that have gone unnoticed come forward, demanding attention and study.

Listening can be very beneficial to spiritual life and growth. Audio bibles are available on free websites and in MP3 format. Apps are also available.

As of this writing, biblegateway.com is a notable free website. It offers audio in many English versions and a good number of other languages, including Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, and more.

The site has a setting for continuous play, so it is possible to listen uninterrupted for hours.

Good Use of Time

Because it is not necessary to keep your eyes on a page, this method can make good use of time as you do some of those repetitive, mundane household chores.
